The Mysterious Stranger
Perhaps one of Mark Twain’s more unique stories is his short tale _The Mysterious Stranger_. He authored three copies of the tale. Only one of them had an ending the others were abandoned. After Mark Twain’s death, it was published.
The _Mysterious Stranger_ is a tale of an angel named Satan. It is bizarre and it raises question to the inspiration for such a story. It was also the influence for the claymation clip below. The clip was taken from The Adventures of Mark Twain. If you don’t read the short story at least take the time to watch the video.
