Due to the success of last week’s mummy theme. This week we will spend trying to find the Great White Brotherhood. We will end the week with a copy of a book said to be produced by the Brotherhood themselves. The book is only 1 of 25 in the world that I will be transcribing. It cost me far more than anticipated but I will be posting it online for Friday.
Tales of the White Brotherhood are said to go back as far as Egyptian times. Practically every esoteric order refers to them. In Max Heindel’s book the Rosicrucian Cosmo Conception , he gives mention to such enlightened beings as those who would be found in the White Brotherhood. The White Brotherhood has long been a curious group. In near every esoteric tradition one thing is certain. If you meet the White Brotherhood, then your spiritual ascension is near guaranteed; because you have been found worthy to walk the path of light. The Great White Brotherhood despite the name has no affiliation with the nazi, kkk, or pro-white movements.
Who exactly is in the White Brotherhood and how you find it is also a mystery. The stories range from great mythological heroes, to ethereal beings that you can only meet on the astral plane. There are those who have claimed to meet the Brotherhood and still others who claim to be a part of the brotherhood. The Coming Race by Bulwer Lytton is said to be about the White Brotherhood. However Bulwer also wrote such works as Zanoni which was based upon St. Germaine. IT is according to this premise that we may start to assume that the Brotherhood is nothing more than a fabrication upon real persons.
Wether these testaments to the Brotherhood are true or false remain to be explored. There is of course large suspicion that such an organization could not possibly exist. If it did then it has done an exceptional job of keeping itself a secret for all of these centuries. However a brief search turns up a few possibilities, the Universal Brotherhood, the White Brotherhood, and some first hand accounts of people actually meeting the brotherhood. All of these will be explored in depth later on.
“Before the eyes can see, they must be incapable of tears. Before the ear can hear, it must have lost its sensitiveness. Before the voice can speak in the presence of the Masters it must have lost the power to wound. Before the soul can stand in the presence of the Masters its feet must be washed in the blood of the heart.” ~”The Light on the Path”:http://www.excommunicate.net/light-on-the-path
