Designer Death

Artist Nadine Jarvis, specializes in art forms for our deceased loved ones.

Less artistic but still incredible is the Life Gem . Diamonds made from the carbon of loved ones, and pets.

It is in our instincts in the west to fear death, but can these methods for dealing with death of our loved ones help ease that pain? or is this a prelude to something worse than we can imagine?

  1. Hm, I find the diamond thing kind of strange. I don’t know if I would want anyone to wear me as a ring. I don’t feel that a loved one should be represented by an object of worldly, superficial value. It’s like we’re extending our consumerist society beyond death. I’d rather be remembered through nice memories and by my art. As for Nadine Jarvis’ work: hey, why not?
