The Mysterious Stranger

Perhaps one of Mark Twain’s more unique stories is his short tale The Mysterious Stranger. He authored three copies of the tale. Only one of them had an ending the others were abandoned. After Mark Twain’s death, it was published.

The Mysterious Stranger is a tale of an angel named Satan. It is bizarre and it raises question to the inspiration for such a story. It was also the influence for the claymation clip below. The clip was taken from The Adventures of Mark Twain. If you don’t read the short story at least take the time to watch the video.

The super-physical senses. The Astral Senses. Man has seven physical senses, instead of merely five. Each physical sense has its astral sense counterpart. What the astral senses are. Sensing on the astral plane. How the mind functions on the astral plane, by means of the astral senses. The unfolding of the Astral Senses opens up a new world of experience to man.
